Bodywork comes in many forms, some familiar, some unusual. This page will discuss various forms of bodywork, some contraindications, resources for additional information, and how exercise may support the goals of various bodywork modalities.
This page reflects my own understanding of the topics discussed. My knowledge is based upon published research, formal training, and professional practice experience. Consequently, I may revise portions of this content as my level of understanding matures and deepens.
Currently I co-own and practice bodywork at Keep In Touch of Eagan, one of the top-rated massage therapy centers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul south metro area. Though massage is sometimes considered a "treat" mainly for relaxation purposes, my practice is 85-90% therapeutic work oriented towards enhancing your health, life quality, and performance. Many of my clients are referred by their medical professionals, athletic trainers, or friends and family. Please call 651-452-0246 to make an appointment for bodywork.
Take care!
